The chia is a seed that comes from Mexico.

 

The chia seed has many properties, such as: proteins, calcium, boron (a mineral that helps to attach the calcium in bones), potassium, iron, fatty acids like omega 3, antioxidants and also mineral nutrients, such as magnesium, manganese, copper, zinc, and vitamins, such as niacin amongst others.

Highly indicated for a balanced diet, it is mainly taken for its nutritional benefits.

The chia seed may be added as a complement to any dish.
